Workshops - COMMUNITY MEETINGS - EVENTS
The Picture House Gallery & Theatre in Gunning hosts regular workshops both in the gallery & studio/workshop space of the old Coronation Theatre building and in the spacious landscaped gardens on the property. Our workshops are conducted and managed by resident professional artist Margarita Georgiadis. We also invite local professional artists to conduct workshops specializing in their chosen field.
Workshops include; Printmaking, Drawing and Painting. Most of our workshops are suitable for beginners through to advanced participants.
The Picture House Workshops are generally held over a weekend. There are two wonderful cafes in Gunning and a host of Airbnb options for those traveling from out of the region. Our workshops are very relaxed events and we like to teach and encourage participants to find their own creative voice within a supportive and safe environment. Our workshop schedule was halted due to Covid, however, we plan to get busy again in 2022.
The Picture House Gallery & Gardens are also available for community meetings and events.
